Scheme Overview

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled to commence the online registration cycle for the financial year 2026-27 under the Yuva Swarozgar Yojana and the One District One Product (ODOP) Margin Money Scheme. These flagship initiatives aim to promote self-employment among educated unemployed youth and support traditional artisans engaged in ODOP crafts by providing capital subsidies on bank-financed projects.

Key Components

• Yuva Swarozgar Yojana: Targets educated unemployed youth for setting up manufacturing, service, or trading units.
• ODOP Margin Money Scheme: Focuses on artisans and entrepreneurs engaged in district-specific identified products.

Financial Assistance

Eligible beneficiaries receive margin money assistance (capital subsidy) up to a maximum of ₹6.25 lakh per unit, subject to project cost ceilings and category-wise subsidy rates. The subsidy is credit-linked and back-ended, released after successful completion of the lock-in period and verification of unit viability. Bank loans are facilitated under the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) coverage where applicable.

1. Portal Registration: Visit the official DIUPMSME portal (https://diupmsme.upsdc.gov.in) during the active registration window for FY 2026-27 and register using a valid mobile number and Aadhaar-based e-KYC.
2. Profile Completion: Complete the applicant profile including personal details, domicile, category, educational qualification, and bank account details (linked with Aadhaar and NPCI).
3. Application Form Submission: Select the applicable scheme (Yuva Swarozgar / ODOP Margin Money), fill the detailed project proposal (DPR), project cost break-up, and means of finance.
4. Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of mandatory documents (Aadhaar, Domicile, Caste/Category Certificate, Educational Certificates, Project Report, Land/Lease documents, Passport Photo, Cancelled Cheque).
5. Application Submission & Acknowledgement: Submit the final application and generate the Acknowledgement Receipt with unique Application Reference Number.
6. District Level Scrutiny: The District Industries Centre (DIC) scrutinizes the application, conducts physical verification of the site, and forwards eligible cases to the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) for interview/selection.
7. Bank Appraisal & Sanction: Selected applications are forwarded to the lead bank/financing branch for detailed appraisal and loan sanction.
8. Margin Money Release: Upon loan disbursement by the bank and verification of asset creation, the margin money subsidy claim is processed by DIC and released to the borrower's loan account as back-ended subsidy.
