Overview

The Bihar Road Construction Board (BRCB) is preparing to issue bid notices for the construction of new state highway bridges and rural reinforced cement concrete (RCC) river bypasses under the 2026‑27 financial year. These works aim to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and support rural‑urban integration across the state.

Scope of Work

• Design and construction of new bypass corridors on selected state highways.
• Building RCC river bypass structures to facilitate uninterrupted traffic flow during monsoon seasons.
• Associated works including approaches, drainage, and safety installations.

Implementation

All projects will be funded entirely by the State Government. Successful bidders will be required to comply with the Bihar Public Works Department (BPWD) specifications, environmental clearances, and safety norms.
